We are desperately asking for some money to help Glen. I'm getting frequent text messages and emails from Ate Anna now for 5K peso (US$120) for a deposit for the next draining of toxic fluids for Glen. His breathing was apparently so irregular that he had to go back into the hospital to go on life support. This is a very bad turn of events. Even though the draining is keeping him alive it is ultimately not progress because its just treating the symptom and not fixing the root problem. This is the conundrum we are facing. What Glen really needs is a coronary angiogram (costs US$1000) to narrow down the specific issue causing his liver and kidneys to fail. Then this test should tell the doctors what is wrong with his heart so they can operate (costs unknown). Specialists in the Manila heart clinic that examined Glen ran enough tests to see that the root problem is in his heart but he needs the angiogram before he can be operated on. But the bottom line is none of this can happen without assistance from our friends. Glen comes from a poor family and there is no money at all. Please email me if you can help in any way; larriji@gmail.com . If any readers out there has any medical connections in the Philippines who can help, please pass it on to us, it might very well save Glen's life.
Meanwhile WSU members are still documenting Glen's story to get the message out there. Our chief director Kaye is going to be video taping Glen again after we lost the last footage due to the tape malfunctioning. Here is the latest email from Ate Anna:

STILL SEEKING US$1000 to pay for angiogram for Glen. Even a dollar can help. Through microgiving we can get Glen the tests he needs. Please give a single dollar now!
