Pictured above is Lola Veronica at the WSU sari sari shop in Malasqui. I first met Lola Veronica in 2006 at her home in the Pangasinan province on the island of Luzon. She is the great aunt of Vangie, WSU Director of Malasqui chapter. Lola Veronica is now in the hospital in Pangasinan with throat cancer. She is struggling a great deal suffering a great deal and the doctors give her a 50-50 chance to live. We are trying to raise 12K(about $250US) peso to pay for a throat operation that might save her. All WSU money is depleted at this time. So anybody out there that has some extra money please message me.
